Running away from someone chasing Emily from behind. She wasnt a fast runner but tries hard to distance herself from that someone. She ran across the streets and was stopped by a poor elderly woman whom kindly asking her if she could lend some money to raise funds for her son education. But she pushes her away and continue running as she saw the person coming near her. She began to have her mind interrupted, like a flashback. Something blurry, an old human figure with tied grey hair. She snaps out of it, and continues running when she tripped and hit her head. She then fall unconscious.

The next day, she found herself running away from that same figure, but this time, she ran faster. She was stopped by the elderly woman whom she met with yesterday. Looking back and sees no one behind, she sincerely gave her the money she have and looking at her, her mind interrupts her. That elderly woman seems familiar, just that she couldnt recall. Snapping out of her mind, she looked behind and saw the figure coming towards her. She ran as fast, she stumbles but didnt fall. She continue running, seeing the red light traffic and still ran until she saw a bright rim light coming towards and fell unconscious.

Woke up at the same place where starts running from that figure, she got confused. she asked herself

"why is this happening to me? whats wrong with me? am i in the right world?! "

She looks around, with no sight of the figure, she walks slowly to find the old lady. But sadly, she couldnt find her. She got confused by the past and starts to walk further and saw a tree brunch and steps over it. She thinks to herself, why she feels different from the other two days she had done before. She saw the traffic and waited for the green lights. Just right behind her, she heard someone whispering her name. She look and terrified to see the figure, now much clearer. To her suprise, it was herself, look exactly like her. She couldnt believe whats happening as she close and opens her eyes back to see if its true. Her other self with no second thoughts shot her on the chest.

The next day, she wakes up and found herself in a hospital bed, with bandage and bruise all over. She then wonders which of the 3 incidence could have happen? She asked the doctor,

" Doctor, what exactly happened to me? i have a terrible dream. please tell me what happened?"

Being paranoid i guess, you shot yourself on the chest. "

CHARACTER PROFILE

Mathilda
by Roald Dahl

The book "Mathilda" is written by Roald Dahl. The novel is about a girl name Mathilda, who was born in a family whom all show no interest about her and treat her rudely as she is "different" from all of them; as Mathilda is a hardworking girl and love reading books whereas her family loves being lazy, watch the television, and enjoys life. She is being hated by her family and was never treated as their own daughter.

Mathilda is a young 5 year old girl, with black hair and always dress herself neatly to look at the best of herself. She is a quiet and humble person who is friendly and nice to all her classmates. She is specially gifted with wonderful intelligence and magical powers which she was unaware of. She taught herself to read books at the age of 3 and has a magical ability to move things without touching, by using her eye power.

When she turned 5 and a half years old, she went to a school called Crunchem Hall Primary School. Her first day of school was great, just that she is a little different from her classmates. Her IQ is much higher than the rest. She could count the two times table till the end, without her realising she's one of the smarter ones in class. Speaks much more fluent than the rest and even could answer a question by not looking at it. She's more than just ordinary.

Mathilda had been a good student for the past 5 years in school now. She's 11 now and one day she got mad for being accused by her principle for something she never did. She unknowingly uses her magical powers and terrifies the principle away. She then realises that she has magical powers, and tries doing it at home to double confirms it. To her suprise, she could make things fly with just her eye power. Few hours of practice, she succeeded to control her powers.

Mathilda saw a friend of her's was being pulled on the ear by the principle and she plans to use her powers in good use. Scaring the principle by using her eye power to control the chalk to write on the blackboard, saying it was his dead husband hunting for her. Shocked, the principle fainted and mathilda successfully make her classmates happy after since. She and her classmates never see that nasty principle of theirs ever again.

Her father was caught cheating money, and her family plans to fly to Spain. Like any other student, she still wants to stay at her hometown and study with her friends. She was then being adopted by her form teacher, Miss Honey who was asked by her parents. And Mathilda live happily ever after.

In this novel, Mathilda's goal is to make her dream come true, to be in school like any girls do, and have a nice family who can treat her nicely. She attends to a school, but the school wasnt what she really dream of. The school was controlled by a nasty principle named Miss Trunchbull whom treats her students awfully. Then came to a day where she realised she has magical powers that somehow could be in good use. After the lost of the principle, her dreams come true to have a wonderful school and a bright life. She gets the news that her family is moving to Spain, and was adopted by Miss Honey later. Her story ends with her smiling, and live the life she dreams of to be.

Living Impaired

Life is precious to all means. I never a life to go wasted by taking drugs, or committing suicide. I have a story about a friend, whom struggles though his life being a visually impaired.

I was playing soccer with Hakim and my other classmates. Well, me and Hakim are close friends and people even calls us gay partners as we live just opposite blocks and would wait for one another at the void deck to go school together. He's a nerdy with bowled haircut, quiet and petite guy. I got close with him due to the fact that everyone always looks down and bullies him and he's always alone. One time during P.E lesson, we played floorball but before the game start, the two captains will pick his group members. Everyone was chosen and left with Hakim, which unfortunately the other group have to take but was being looked down by one of his worst nightmare friend, Danny. He shouted

" walao! this guy again? cannot make it la sia. You dont need to play for us la! Lousy bugger. "

I looked up at Hakim seeing him in misery, dragging his feet to prepare for the game. I feel bad not standing up for him, but i couldnt do much even. The game starts and i played fairly well scoring some goals until i look around looking for Hakim. He isnt around at the court but with me having fun, i ignored him.

After P.E , we headed straight to class , sweaty and tired when i saw Hakim sitting on his place reading a book. I asked him

"Hey, why didnt you play? we had fun! "

He just nods and smile. I bought him his favourite Bandung drink to cheer him up. But didnt work. Few days later, i realised that he had been avoiding me, and when i asked him to go school together, he rejected. I sense something isnt right now. Another P.E lesson, this time we played soccer. I knew he will be playing regardless of which team he's in as soccer is is hobby since pri school. He was the opposite team and we played awhile. He played well even thought Danny keeps interrupting his mind talking shits about him. Until a moment of second when i turn around, i saw Danny raising his feet high up reaching for the ball when Hakim is just infront of him. Slams Hakim with his forceful kick to his face. I didnt know if it was on purpose or accidental. I ran towards him and saw his eyes bleeding, flowing like a river, with him crying out in pain. Tears roll down my cheeks and i asked him

" are you alright?! dont open your eyes! Stay strong! dont cry!"

He was then hospitalized for a few weeks until we can see him. Bad news that, he was visually impaired ever since the incident. He asked me

"will you still be my friend when im like this fi? i cant see you. I cant see the world. I feel like ending my life now fi. Im sorry. "

Hearing that, i shouted

" what the **** are you talking about man! you're still young! come on man. i will help you through your life. We're friends remember? "

and i left him speaking no goodbye. He then was released from hospital, but didnt attend school as my school doesnt take visually impaired students. I feel sorry for him and visits him once awhile. One day, while i was in his house,he starts behaving strangely, he slits his wrist, and attempts suicide when i quickly grab his body down. I beat him while crying. Shouting

" are you crazy bro?! are you?! **** you! what the hell are you trying to do?! treasure your life will you?! just, **** you. Thanks for making me feel like a dumb shit friend who cares for you when you just want to end it like this?! Think bro! "

Few weeks later, i received a phone call from him, saying thanks to me for holding him back when he was committing suicide as now he is studying in a school for visual impaired and had a part time job to earn himself too. I feel great for him and wish him luck for all his life.
